Ciarán Barrett Coaching is run by Ciarán Barrett, a sole trader based in Ireland. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website and my email list, why, and what your rights are. If you have any questions, email me at [email protected].
What I collect
- Your first name and email address when you sign up for a free guide or my emails.
- Basic information about how you interact with my emails (for example, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked).
- Anything you choose to send me when you reply to an email or contact me about coaching.
Coaching clients sign a separate client agreement, which explains how their health information and progress photos are handled.
Why I use it
- To send you the free guide you asked for.
- To send you fitness tips and occasional offers about my coaching, if you agreed to receive them.
- To reply to you when you contact me.
The legal basis for sending you emails is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email, or by emailing me.
Who I share it with
My email list is managed by Kit (Kit.com), which stores and sends emails on my behalf. Kit is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the EU. Kit uses recognised safeguards for these transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. I never sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long I keep it
I keep your name and email for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I stop emailing you, and you can ask me to delete your details completely at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it's used, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, just email me.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
